Business Professionals of America held a coat drive, which was a wonderful success. Many coats, mittens, gloves, neck scarves, and blankets were collected to help those less fortunate than us. We would like to thank everyone who donated, and especially like to thank Steele County Human Services for distributing them. Thank you also, to Marlene Dwyer for assisting us in arranging for the distribution.

BPA members and advisors from SCTC, Faribault and Mankato campuses gathered together for a potluck at the home of Harold Chromy, Waterville, MN. In spite of the rainy weather, there was a very nice turn out for the event. Harold Chromy is a BPA Advisor on the Mankato campus. Thank you, Harold, for allowing us the opportunity to get to know the Mankato BPA members better.

The 2004 Business Professionals of America Fall Conference & Leadership Training was held at Cragun's Resort & Conference Center, located near Brainerd, Minnesota. Members who attended took part in a wide variety of seminars designed to help us become better business men and women. Keynote speakers were Bob Upgren who "wowed" us with his masterful chalk art, and Byron Garrett, who is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership, Administration and Policy at Pepperdine University in Arizona.
