      As I have been researching my own Dunlaps, I have realized just how many Dunlaps carry the same given name, such as John, James, Samuel and more. I felt it might be nice to see a "visual" of where these people settled, migrated and where they raised their families. With this information, it might become easier for us to find out if and where we all connect together. I highly suspect that several Dunlap/Dunlop brothers came to the United States together and most or many of us are all descendants from them. By putting this together, I hope to discover who those brothers were, so we can go on from there with our ancestral research.
     My hope is that this site will be a central point for Dunlap and Dunlop descendants to have their ancestors listed by the states and counties where they were born, lived, etc. at differnt times times in their lives. When each person sends me some of their ancestral information, along with the related counties and dates when available, I will list those people in the appropriate state and county, along with other information about them. If you would like your contact information included, please let me know, and I'll be happy to display it as well.
